Az Dandaye Chap Boland Shodan

“To wake up on the wrong side of the bed”

I learnt this expression from an early (ish) phone call – it seems even being grumpy can be an advantage! So for those mornings when you feel more gremlin than human, here is the newest addition, enjoy. (or don’t…)

With thanks to Amir Hossein Taheri 🙌

Note – I have translated it once with the equivalent expression in English –
‘To get out of the wrong side of the bed’

The expression is ‘to get out of the wrong side of the bed’. It’s used for the
times in which one day we see someone who is really angry, really
bad-tempered, tires, argues with others, isn’t normal. So, they say that
(s)he is different, they say that today ‘(s)he woke up from the wrong side of
the bed’. Meaning that today isn’t a good day for him, it’s a bad day. (S)he is
arguing with everyone. When we are like this, they say ‘Mr So and So got
out of the wrong side of the bed’.

Istilaahi az dandaye chap boland shoddan. Baraaye mavaagheye istifade

imruz, ruzi xube baraash nist, ruzi badi-e baa hamme da’vaa mikone.
Vaghti ke in jouri baashim, migan are, felaani imruz az dandaye chap
